Biography

General: Fourth-year player… a promising safety who will look to battle for more significant playing time for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2019-21: Saw action in nine games, including one start, in 2021… posted six tackles (three solo), 1.0 tackle-for-loss, one interception and one pass breakup on the season… saw action in one game in 2020… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2019).

In High School: A first-team All-District performer at Hagerty High School as a senior in 2018… also a first-team All-Conference performer… made 75 tackles, three interceptions and four pass breakups for the Huskies.

Personal: Born October 16, 2000… son of Allen and Stephanie Watts… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.13 GPA as a plastics engineering technology major.
